The Wight Mouse Bed & Breakfast - Chale

Liked our stay in this place. We didn't have time, so stayed here only for 1 night, yet everything was excellant. The room was quiet with a view and the overall experience was very comfortable.

Its location was marvellous, in a beautifully positioned old pub.

The standard queen room is airy and has an electric kettle, central heating and an iron. The price is just right - £ 84.

The meals served at the pub were wonderful, with delicious options. The views from the coastal walks were fine and perfect for a leisurely stroll. The room was cozy and well-maintained, but more variety at breakfast would be appreciated for longer stays.

The food was enjoyable, and service was friendly. The breakfast options could benefit from more local products. Some noise from the restaurant could be heard in the evenings, but overall, it was a pleasant stay.

We had an amazing stay! The room was spacious and had a lovely sea view. Breakfast options were plentiful and everything was tasty, especially the fresh eggs. I can't wait to return!

The wight mouse inn offers a great location with a lovely sea view. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff was super friendly. Breakfast was delicious, and the menu for dinner was very comprehensive. We particularly enjoyed how quickly our food arrived, especially the starter! The outdoor beer garden was a nice touch as well.

Family with children delight

We arrived on a busy Saturday, and let me tell you the staff treated us like royalty. The food was fantastic, I had a killer dish and the kids devoured their meals. Friendly staff like Lynn turned our stay into more than just a typical holiday.

Not the cheapest stay, but honestly worth every penny.

Loved chilling in the beer garden while the kids played in the playground. The arcade games were a hit too! Just a heads up for others, the kitchen opens at 8:30 am, so plan your mornings accordingly. Highly recommend trying their dinner menu.

The room was generally clean but I noticed a lot of dust on the TV and an empty water bottle tucked away behind the side table.

We really enjoyed our stay with delicious breakfasts each morning and a lovely outdoor area where we could relax and unwind. The swings were a hit with the kids, providing great fun for them to play while we chilled nearby. Just one little issue was some noise from other guests in the morning, but it didn’t ruin our overall experience. 😊

Charming, Charming, Charming

I just adored the views of the Needles from the restaurant, perfect for soaking up that coastal vibe! The food? Absolutely good! The portions were generous and the flavors were spot on, especially the venison bourguignon! Plus, the dog-friendly attitude.

Had a blast with friends! The beer garden was perfect for chilling, and we loved the live music. Plus, the arcade games were a fun touch for our group. The staff were friendly, and the food was great.

One downside was the signage for the gents' toilets. It was quite confusing, but it didn't ruin our time.

The Wight Mouse Inn boasts a charming rustic decor, with oak beams and large log fires creating a warm ambiance. The layout is accessible.

A chair in the room would be helpful.

It was just a reliable pick for a short visit in Chale with great value for the money. The seafood tagliatelle I had for dinner was packed with huge prawns and tasty mussels. Look for the EV charging option if you're driving an electric car.
